The pilot, explained openly
Your details.
Your choice.
RoamRep connects travelers with sponsor tasks from businesses in Bali and Bangkok. The founder personally reviews pilot applications and coordinates introductions by email.
Talk to the founder
Ask a question, raise a concern about a proposed exchange, change your application, or request withdrawal or deletion. If you’ve applied, include your application reference when possible.
What we collect and why
Travelers provide a preferred name, email, destination, and travel dates. Businesses provide a contact name and email, business name and location, proposed task, and reward.
We use this information to review applications, assess potential matches, and contact you about the pilot. We don’t ask for a passport, payment card, accommodation address, or live location.
Who can see your application
Applications are private and reviewed by the founder. Applying does not create an account or a public profile, and it does not publish a business offer. We ask before sharing your contact details or introducing you to another participant.
Vercel hosts the website and application service. Neon stores application records. These services process data to operate the site and may retain technical logs or recovery copies under their own settings and policies.
Keeping and deleting your details
Applications expire 90 days after submission and are no longer available for review. Scheduled cleanup removes expired records from the active database daily. You can email the founder for earlier deletion, corrections, or withdrawal.
Deleted records may remain in the database provider’s recovery history until its retention period ends. Email conversations are separate from the application database; mention those too when requesting deletion.
Your browser and this site
RoamRep does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Form entries stay in page memory until you send them; they are not saved in browser storage by the app. Reloading or leaving the page can clear an unfinished application.
What the pilot does and doesn’t promise
- Applying starts a conversation. A match, reward, or response time is not guaranteed.
- Business participation has no RoamRep fee during the pilot. Businesses provide the agreed traveler rewards directly.
- Both sides must explicitly agree to the task, deadline, proof, reward timing, and any content usage before starting.
- Manual review is not an independent identity check. RoamRep does not hold payments or offer escrow.
- Homepage examples are fictional. They do not represent available offers or participating businesses.
